Our work

We have developed credible resources to help inform policymakers about key health issues across the globe.

We deliver excellence, from start to finish, in all our work – meaning rigorous research, in-depth consultations, multidisciplinary consensus and actionable, accessible messages that gain recognition and respect.

Our process

Whether we are producing a simple policy report or coordinating a complex multi-stakeholder network, our integrity, flexibility and standards of quality ensure delivery of outstanding work.

Strategy
We diagnose the key issues relevant to the topic at hand, assess challenges and identify valuable and achievable project goals.
Research

We dive into the detail to build the deeper picture and identify the most appropriate research methodologies to do so. Our specialist research team combines empirical research (qualitative or quantitative), secondary analysis and synthesis of existing data, to best address the needs of each project.

Quality and consistency
Quality is everything – all of our research is conducted to academic standards and we always acknowledge any inherent limitations of our research. Our research team works with senior editorial staff to ensure all drafting is to the highest standard and suitable for our target audiences
Consensus
We test the validity and relevance of our findings with key stakeholders and work them in a genuine exercise of co-creation to build consensus around topics and recommendations.
Impact
We deliver outputs with the narrative and visual power to compel audiences to action, providing a credible, evidence-based starting point to engage stakeholders on key topics, build momentum and ultimately drive change in policy.

Our clients

Our clients include life sciences industry, patient and professional associations, foundations and NGOs working in a wide range of health and disease areas. Although most of our work is European, we have worked in more than 50 countries across the world, producing reports with a national, regional or global focus.

Our knowledge partnership programme

Alongside paid project work, we lend ongoing policy advice, research and writing support to selected non-profit organisations who are involved in topics that we feel strongly about.

‘HPP is something of a unique organisation in health policy. Their strengths are due in great part to their commitment to high-quality relationships with key stakeholders, including patient advocates, and to evidence-driven analysis. They communicate extremely well and can be trusted to bring together an impactful and lasting consensus, even on difficult policy topics.’
