Matt joined The Health Policy Partnership in September 2021 and was promoted to the role of Researcher in July 2022. He works across various projects in areas including cardiovascular disease and lung cancer.

Before joining HPP, Matt completed several insight weeks at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. He also worked at Wycombe Hospital as part of the COVID-19 support team.

Matt holds an MSc in Health Policy from The University of Edinburgh. His dissertation was a collaboration with the Institute for Employment Studies focusing on the relationship between job autonomy and employee wellbeing. He also holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from Cardiff University.
