Rowan joined The Health Policy Partnership in October 2021 as a Project Officer. She works across various projects, primarily in lung cancer screening and Wilson’s disease.
Before joining HPP, Rowan was working as a medical reviewer in the pharmaceutical industry, and volunteering as a vaccinator in the COVID-19 response. She has also worked on access to medicines projects and as a researcher in maternal–infant sleep and childhood infections.
Rowan holds an MSc in Population Health from University College London, with a dissertation on birth outcomes among women living with HIV who migrated to the UK shortly before or during pregnancy. She also holds a BSc in Health & Human Sciences from Durham University.
