HPP Managing Directors Suzanne Wait and Ed Harding presented at the inaugural global summit of the Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience (PHSSR) on 16 March.

Suzanne presented a case study on lung cancer screening, highlighting the importance of early detection in reducing cancer-related mortality and improving health system sustainability. In his role as Network Director for the Heart Failure Policy Network, Ed presented a case study on reducing hospitalisations in heart failure, outlining recommendations to build resilience in health systems.

HPP was invited to write both case studies using a framework developed by the PHSSR, which was founded by the World Economic Forum, the London School of Economics and Political Science and AstraZeneca. For more information, please visit the project page.
