‘Health policy is at the core of public health and health systems. To drive impactful change, we must shape evidence-based policies that improve people’s quality of life and care, while also addressing health inequalities on a global scale.’

 

Sofia Lombatti joined The Health Policy Partnership as a Researcher in June 2025. She is currently part of the team working on the Lung Cancer Policy Network.

Before joining HPP, Sofia was a policy prevention research intern at Cancer Research UK. She is particularly interested in how strengthening prevention and ensuring timely, effective care can enhance the capacity and resilience of health systems.

She holds a BSc in European Public Health from Maastricht University and a MSc in Global Healthcare Management and Leadership from UCL’s Global Business School for Health.

Originally from Italy, Sofia is fluent in English and Italian.
