Upcoming webinar to explore policy priorities for improving survival from lung cancer in Europe

20 November 2023

Join The Health Policy Partnership and Johnson & Johnson on Wednesday 29 November at 16:00 CET for a webinar titled ‘Lung cancer in Europe: accelerating opportunities to improve survival’.

The webinar will mark Lung Cancer Awareness Month by bringing together a cross-section of voices to discuss priorities for accelerating improvements in survival from lung cancer in Europe.

Our speakers will discuss the current landscape of lung cancer, exploring how recent innovations may improve health outcomes and patient experiences, and the opportunities that emerging technologies present for the future of lung cancer care.

Techniques such as low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) screening, biomarker testing and precision medicine offer the opportunity to detect, treat and care for people with lung cancer at much earlier stages of the disease, improving their quality of life and survival.

The webinar will draw on perspectives from across the care pathway, including clinicians, screening leads, and lung cancer advocates to discuss how recommendations at the EU level – such as to move towards implementation of lung cancer screening – can be transformed into action at the national and regional level. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to put forward their questions to the expert panel.

We hope you can join us for this event.
