Building on over ten years as an industry-leading health system and policy shaping consultancy, HPP is delighted to announce the appointment of Jody Tate to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Rhiannon Lavin as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Together Jody and Rhiannon will lead the management of the company into its next phase of growth.

Having joined HPP almost eight years ago as Director of Research, Jody Tate has led HPP’s research and policy teams, developed global networks and supported clients, while continually building HPP’s culture of excellence and commitment to quality and multi-stakeholder engagement. With over 20 years’ experience in health policy and consultancy, Jody has supported HPP as it has grown to the globally trusted organisation it is today.

Since 2018, Rhiannon Lavin has supported HPP’s development as Director of Operations, building in all internal policies and processes, and leading on contractual, financial and personnel matters. With unrivalled expertise in both commercial and charity sectors, Rhiannon has secured the financial and operational sustainability of HPP as its headcount doubled over the past five years.

These internal promotions represent a natural evolution for HPP and of Jody’s and Rhiannon’s roles as company leaders and ambassadors.

Jody says: ‘I have seen HPP grow from strength to strength over the past eight years, and I’m unbelievably proud of what our amazing team achieves for our clients and stakeholders. I look forward to working alongside our Senior Leadership Team, with Ed and Suzanne’s strategic guidance, to continue to enhance our service offering and role in driving health system and policy change.’

Suzanne and Ed, who founded HPP in 2014, will consolidate their roles, focusing on the company’s strategy and organisational development, while supporting stakeholders, partners and clients in addressing an ever-changing health landscape.

Ed said: ‘This is such a positive step for HPP as an organisation and vital for our long-term growth. Both Jody and Rhiannon have been invaluable to building HPP into the organisation it is today, and we have every confidence in them leading HPP into a new and exciting phase of growth, supported by our outstanding team.’
