Jody joined The Health Policy Partnership in January 2018 and has been Director of Research since October 2019.

Leading numerous research projects across the company, Jody’s role at HPP has included policy initiatives in the areas of vaccination, atrial fibrillation, BRCA-related breast cancer, rare diseases and personalised medicine.

Jody has more than 15 years’ experience in public health, focusing on research and project management. Much of her work prior to joining HPP involved supporting clients to design, deliver and evaluate large-scale public health programmes in Africa and Asia, with a focus on health systems strengthening, access to medicines and communicable disease control.

She has written or contributed to a range of reports and policy briefs for clients, including the UK and Australian governments, the United Nations, and philanthropic organisations.

Jody has a Master’s in Public Health (Global Health) from the University of Manchester and a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.
