Oriana Carswell

Oriana joined The Health Policy Partnership in November 2020 and was promoted to the role of Researcher in July 2022. She is currently working on a project in precision cancer medicine.

Before joining HPP, Oriana was a researcher for the University of Sussex, working on a project that aimed to develop a sustainable regional early-warning system for fishing communities on Lake Victoria. She was also a short-term research consultant on a project for Uganda Red Cross, working to improve early action responses to disaster risk.

Oriana holds a BA in Geography and International Development from the University of Sussex.
